Royal Kludge S98 96% Chartreuse Switch Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard
Mechanical | 96% layout | Chartreuse switches | Wireless
Royal Kludge S98 is a full-featured 96% wireless mechanical keyboard. You keep the numpad and arrow cluster but lose the wasted space.
A 96% layout squeezes a full numpad and arrow keys into a compact body. You keep every key you use for work, with less desk footprint than a full-size board.
This model uses chartreuse switches, a specialty option in the lineup. Check the product photos and switch chart if you have a strong preference.
Best for: Gamers, writers and coders who want proper mechanical typing feel.

Frequently asked questions
Is the wireless connection good enough for gaming?
Wireless keyboards using a 2.4GHz dongle are fine for most gaming. Bluetooth is better for casual use and switching between devices. If you play competitive shooters, use a wired or 2.4GHz mode if your model offers one.
How do I charge it?
Wireless mechanical keyboards charge over USB-C or a similar cable. Plug into any USB port or phone charger. Battery life varies with backlight use, so turning lighting down stretches it.
Which switch should I pick?
Red is linear and smooth for gaming, brown is tactile and quiet-ish for gaming plus typing, blue is clicky and loud for typists. If you are unsure, brown is the safe pick.
Mechanical or membrane?
Mechanical keyboards feel better, last longer and are easier to repair, but they cost more and can be louder. Membrane boards are quieter and cheaper but feel mushier.
Will it work with my PC or Mac?
Keyboards work with Windows PCs out of the box. macOS and Linux work too, though some extra keys, lighting controls and software features may differ. Check the box or manual for exact support.
Do I need a numpad?
If you do spreadsheets or data entry, yes. If you mostly game or code, a compact layout gives you more mouse room and a cleaner desk.
