Frequently asked questions
What GPU do I need for this monitor?
For 4K UHD (3840x2160) at 165Hz, you'll want at least a mid-range GPU like an RTX 4060 or RX 7600 for 1440p or higher. Higher resolutions and refresh rates need more GPU power — a 4K 240Hz panel wants an RTX 4080 or better to keep frames up.
Does this monitor support FreeSync or G-Sync?
Most modern gaming monitors support AMD FreeSync, and many are also G-Sync Compatible. This means smooth, tear-free gameplay whether you're on an AMD or NVIDIA GPU.
Is a curved monitor better for gaming?
Flat panels are better for competitive gaming and colour-critical work. Curved monitors are great for immersion at larger sizes (32"+). It's mostly personal preference.
What cables do I need?
DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 for the full refresh rate. Most monitors include at least one cable in the box. For high refresh rates, DisplayPort is usually the safer bet.
How important is response time?
For competitive gaming, 1ms GtG or better is ideal. This panel delivers fast response times for minimal ghosting.
