Is the Core Ultra 7 265K compatible with LGA1700 boards?
No. It needs an LGA1851 800-series board (Z890, B860 or H810).
Is it good for gaming?
Yes. It handles high-refresh gaming well and is excellent for gaming plus streaming or creative work.
Which cooler is recommended?
A 240mm or 360mm AIO. There's no cooler in the box.
Which motherboard is compatible?
It needs an Intel 800-series LGA1851 board: H810, B860 or Z890. Older LGA1700 boards won't fit, and it's DDR5 only.
What RAM should I use?
DDR5 only. A 2 x 16GB DDR5-6000 to 6400 kit is the sweet spot. Arrow Lake also supports fast CUDIMM memory on Z890.
